Important Safety Information
Do not take methylene blue with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, or other serotonergic medications. This combination can cause serotonin syndrome, a medical emergency.
Methylene blue carries an FDA boxed warning, the agency's highest safety alert: combined with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, opioids, or other serotonergic medications, it can cause serious or fatal serotonin syndrome. It can cause severe hemolysis in people with G6PD deficiency, a contraindication rather than just a caution. Other effects include blue-green discoloration of urine and sometimes skin, nausea, headache, and dizziness. Dose matters significantly: higher doses reverse the effect seen at low doses, shifting the compound from antioxidant to pro-oxidant.
Do not source this product outside a clinical relationship.
What Methylene Blue is.
Methylene blue is used in cognitive and cellular energy care. At low doses it can act as an alternative electron carrier in the mitochondria.
It is also a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, which is where its most serious interaction risk comes from. That is why the medication review happens first.
How it works.
Three steps. Everything after that is adjustment.
Complete your panel
Book your draw at a lab near you. We look at 70+ biomarkers across five systems, not one line at a time.
Meet your physician
A licensed physician reads your results with you and decides whether this is right for you, and at what dose.
Start your protocol
Your protocol ships. Your markers are re-read so it can be adjusted rather than refilled by default.
This might sound familiar.
-
You want a physician to go through the interaction list with you properly.
-
You want an honest read on where the evidence actually stands.
-
You would rather this were discussed than sold to you.
Who a physician can prescribe this to.
A licensed physician confirms every line before anything is prescribed. Adding this to your cart does not start a prescription.
Where your journey starts.
Every eūvita protocol begins with your bloodwork and a physician who reads it with you. The four steps below run behind every eūvita membership.
Know your baseline
Your comprehensive panel, read by a physician who has your history in front of them
Build your blueprint
A protocol set from your own results, not the starting point everyone gets
Live your plan
With whole health membership, your physician, dietitian and certified coach all work from that same panel
Keep it current
Your markers re-read and the plan adjusted, rather than refilled by default
The medication works better inside a plan.
A prescription on its own is one input. Whole health membership is what surrounds it: quarterly physician visits, always-on chat, your panel re-drawn twice a year, and a registered dietitian and certified trainer working from those same results.
It is $499 a month on a three month minimum, and your eūvita Core initiation rolls into your first month if you join at your visit.
Have questions? We have answers.
No. Combining methylene blue with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, or other serotonergic medications can cause serotonin syndrome, which is a medical emergency. Your physician screens for this before prescribing, and it is the most common reason this protocol is declined.
That is an expected effect of the compound and not a cause for concern on its own.
Methylene blue is FDA-approved, but not for this use. Prescribing an approved medication outside its labelled indication is legal and common in medicine. It is a decision your physician makes, and one they will explain to you before you start.
No. The effect at low dose does not scale, and higher doses behave differently. Dose is set by your physician.
Start with your baseline.
Your panel and your physician visit come first. Everything else follows from what they show.
